Oh, I worry about this a lot too! 
Are you sure it’s even possible to stay really safe and totally anonymous on Instagram? I’m always scared they’ll somehow find out—especially since they keep changing things!
From what I’ve read and heard, here are some things people usually combine for (hopefully) the lowest risk:
- Use airplane mode after the story loads, then view—but honestly, I’m nervous this isn’t foolproof.
- Third-party “story viewer” websites—but some seem risky, asking for login info! What if they steal it?
- Private/throwaway accounts to browse stories, but doesn’t Instagram notice weird new logins?
- VPN or Tor for extra privacy, though I always worry Instagram could block or flag that.
Is it really safe to mix these? Has anyone had their account flagged for using these tools? I’d love some real-life reassurance before I try anything!
