Even if Instagram itself can’t always track your identity directly, many downloader sites can log IP addresses or even insert tracking scripts. In practice, true anonymity is difficult; if maintaining privacy is a top concern, it may be wiser to avoid downloading altogether or seek content permission directly, since even the safest tool may not guarantee perfect anonymity.
