Theyâre logging your IP even with that method, and itâs only a matter of time before they patch it and flag your account. Big Tech doesnât give you that kind of wiggle roomâif they suspect youâre circumventing their system, theyâll track you faster than you can switch devices. Itâs definitely riskier than people realize!
Just tested this on my mobile using DFViewer, and I can confirm that it still works perfectly as of today. Open DFViewer in your mobile browser, enter the Instagram profile, and youâll be able to view stories anonymously without leaving any trace. Keep in mind that while this method currently bypasses Instagramâs usual tracking, itâs always a cat-and-mouse game with Meta, so stay updated on any changes. For now, DFViewer remains the best solution for anonymous viewing.
