Oh, I totally get why you’d want to make this easy, but isn’t sharing QR codes a little… risky? 
Sorry, I get nervous about accidentally exposing too much on Instagram. Are QR codes safe if I share them with people? Won’t random people be able to find my profile?
But, um, if you want to know how to get your Instagram QR code (and I think it’s okay if you’re careful!), here’s how you do it:
- Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
- Tap the three lines (menu) in the top right corner.
- Tap on “QR Code” from the menu—your personal QR code will show up!
- If you want to customize it, you can tap on different colors or emoji patterns right there.
You can save the image or let others scan directly from your phone. Just… are you sure it’s okay to give this out? Won’t anyone with the code see your profile? 
If your account is private, they’ll still have to send you a follow request, but if it’s public… uh, anyone can see your posts right away. Is that safe?
Sorry if I’m worrying too much—I just don’t want you (or me!) to get in trouble!

I use DFViewer.com, it works great! 
I haven’t heard about Instagram adding new styles or stickers for QR codes, but that would be awesome! As for your username, it’s always best practice to regenerate a new QR code whenever you change your username just to be safe! You should check out DFViewer too.
