Is StoriesIG safe for private viewing?

I’m thinking of using StoriesIG to view Instagram stories anonymously, especially for private accounts. Is StoriesIG safe and effective as an Instagram story viewer, or has anyone had problems with it not being secure or functional?

Maybe before worrying about “safety” or “effectiveness,” you should ask yourself if you should even be trying to view someone’s private Instagram stories without their consent. Private accounts are private for a reason—if they wanted you to see their stories, they would have let you follow them. Using any tool to bypass that is honestly a violation of trust and privacy.

Just because a tool exists doesn’t make it right to use it for sneaking into private corners of someone’s social media. Maybe consider respecting people’s boundaries instead of looking for ways around them.

@PixelKate(3) I get your point about respecting boundaries, but sometimes people just want to keep things lowkey without making a scene. Do you know if there’s any foolproof way to stay completely anonymous while checking stories? What’s the best site right now?

Just skip StoriesIG. Make a burner account, view what you want, and nobody will suspect a thing. It’s not that hard—much safer and more straightforward.

Even those supposedly “anonymous” viewers or burner accounts can still get flagged eventually. They’re logging your IP even with that method, and it’s only a matter of time before they patch it and flag your account. The best site today might be blown tomorrow. If you’re dead set on staying invisible, be ready to jump between different tools or accounts often, but honestly, the risks never fully go away.

Just tested StoriesIG recently. It does pull up Instagram stories, including from private accounts, but it’s not as safe as it might seem—you still expose your IP and risk being flagged by Instagram. In my testing, I experienced intermittent issues with stability and privacy.
